Just a quick thankyou to the boys and girls down at TSL. Had my Eibachs fitted yesterday, and everthing good you've ever read about TSL is true. The word i will use is Professional. I live an hour and a half away, but the distance is a small price to pay for the service you recieve. For those of you who have never sampled the place, do it.

The problem is Trouser is he master of psychology. He starts off by making you a cup of tea, then gently eases you into the flannel. Before you know it, the credit card is out and you are lost forever in the upgrade vortex (he he)
Tyres, wheels, bodykit, oil, lube, lights, MoTec, Banzai, want them all!!!!

Paul - if you read this - how is the GX zorst development going? Have you worked out whether you can do both styles for the GX yet?
Cheers, Alex

The trouble is you go in for something and you get the hard sell, I can't be arsed with all that sales sh!te, it does my head in.
Good service and the guys down there really know there stuff.

Got to pace the car up around the twisties yesterday. Fantastic! Turn in is much sharper, much safer feeling on the edge, feels absoulutly rooted to the black stuff. The ride is naturally a bit firmer but you only notice when pot holes are present. On the motorway, no difference.
As for cost, 4 springs + braided brake hoses + four wheel laser alignment all took over four hours (2 for the aligment) = £493.
and worth it.

I agree with Bumcrack (?), I dont appreciate the hard sell stuff but I do like the fact that they are enthusiasts about the marque and allways have something intersting or knowledgeable to tell you (hard to get a word in edgeways with Graham!)...

Cheers guys!
sales pitch??.. moi??!! .. sorry if i go off on one sometimes kids.. whether you believe me or not, i just get genuinely excited about some of the very cool stuff we have in.. and can't shut up about! . Obviously it does help the business if you are good enough to buy something at the end .. but "Shut Up trouser" usually puts an end to me getting too excited about carbon trims or summit!
Alex.. tis done.. thanks for the loan for your box.. so to speak .. flows nicely with just enough back pressure.. The first one was a bit quiet and discreet for my ears tho!
Cheers again people.. thats twice people have written I have made the tea.. and it's only August!

Brun,
I'm going in to TSL for springs on friday and Paul has already tried to sell be braided hoses over the phone. What sort of difference did they make? Worth the extra cash?

It is not just Paul that sells things!
Lindsay did a good job on the braided brake line, by pointing at the OME one and asking "what are these doing here?"
I was so embarresed they had to be changed!
Seriously Glenn, Becks and Graham are all able to sell, it just Paul "I've got one of those in the boot of my car" that seems to be remembered!
Seriousl though I wouldn't keep treking up there every few weeks to get somethig else done if I idn't like the way things are done or the environment.
The only downside is as TSL get more popular, I am finding it harder to get booked in!
BTW on Saturday Paul made both coffees I dranbk and very nice they were to!

i didn't in the end as the cost was creeping up. well impressed with the suspension work though, absolutely magic. And Graham let me try out his car, it was very, very nice.

All in.
There was a red Scoob sporting your name parked up at TSL. Would this be the Salsa chariot? Is it there for a reason?
