Thumbs up

Spent all day at TSL today for some Eibachs, Geometry, Gear **** and Sparco Pedals , oh and also some braided hoses that I hadn't intended on buying!! Missus was there for some Eibachs on her car

Looked after excellently by Lesley and Trouser (although why is he afraid of that kettle )

Some excellent work by Glen, Si and Lindsey.

Handling has been improved no end on both cars.

Slight downer on the day was the dreaded curse of Gridlock Mikey. Having quipped 'has Glen cut his hand yet'....little did he know that later in the day Glen took the tip of his thumb off fitting my missus' springs.

Hope he is OK and am much appreciative of all the work he did/helped with on both cars. Also, he found out my rear near-side shock absorber is completely pooed out, so I will be back at the dealer for a change of shock next week. Yet again, excellent work from TSL (for checking and finding the problem) and also to Beechdale in Notts, for acting promptly to get me sorted with it (thanks Tim )

I'm also sporting a 'free advertising' tsl sticker now as well

If only they would do discounts.....

Keep up the good work crew, I'll be back shortly!

Thanks to everyone at TSL, had a new downpipe, backbox and ITG filter fitted on Friday.

Great sounding exhaust and v. noticable increase in throttle response

Trouser - I still owe you for the pizza

Cheers

Steve

Had my alignment, fan belt and a few checks done last week

Car now turns in sweetly and it's cough has cleared up.

Well looked after too!

I'll be back soon for more mods & attention to that oil leak you spotted, which seems to be gettting worse after Sunday's Tour o'Derbyshire

That Trouser dude is trying to tempt me with a set of Eibachs at the same time I'll get my alignment / geometry done.

Me must be on commission

Need to find somebody with them on a MY99 UK 4dr for somefeedback.

ChrisB,

I've got Eibach's on a MY00 (a MY99 + 1 so it's close )

They do make a difference specially with the geometry. Ride is a little firmer, not massively so, cornering is mental Car feels like one of those hot wheels cars that can go upside down (although I'm not going to try it!). Car doesn't sit much lower, but feels more assured on the road.

Well worth the money, you will be surprised at how far out of alignment your wheels are when you get your geometry done

Damn, I was hoping you'd say they were terrible and I could keep the credit card in the wallet.

Best get on the blower to Trouser then and see what the damage will be...

Thanks for the info.
