Just wondering if anybody has had any experience of this place. Think they used to be a franchised Scooby dealer but now specialise in imports. Although they still have all the Scooby servicing gear Seem quite good on first impressions. Have got MY98 going in for the 45K monster service next week. Any thoughts?

chunter, ive been up there & had a look around, workshop leaves a lot to be desired, two oldish blokes working in the garage, been there a long time i believe, theres a guy on site were i work & he seems very happy with them, personally i use Ian smith motors at bolton, bit of a pain to get there but ian has a motorsport history
& seems to know his stuff, its the same place as warrenders use

used them twice so far, including my cambelt change and have to say they did a sterling job. They even stripped my brakes down and re did them without charging me. The mechanics might be older but they have had a LOT of subaru experience over the years. I know I would rather have them doing the work than a young lad with 6 months experience. Just my opinion and no offence to any young scooby mechanics out there

Bought my Euro Import from them and have used them for servicing, even though other 'proper' dealers are closer. Would not hesitate to recomend them for either sales or service.

It helps if a garage is independently run normally rather than a big chain. I've no direct experience of Gibsons but they WERE Subaru dealers for a number of years and provided they have the latest diagnostics, the experience is normally good

Things went well folks The service was excellent. The mechanic was an older guy but definately new what he was talking about. Had the full 45,000 mile service, a spare key coded and the price......£369.98 - which was a good deal less than I expected. The only bad thing was they gave me an L-reg Legacy with 138k on the clock as a courtesy car which was quite entertaining.
Thanks again for your advice.
