Default Sonos

Anyone else in love with this stuff?

I've had a Play 5 for about a year and really pleased with it and for Xmas got this little lot.

Now I just need the Sub

I've been using sonos for about 6 years now, mainly as a streamer/multi room device. I just love the fact they are so easy/ plugnplay. Their online and telephone support is excellent too.

I bought a Play3 last year and bought another two when I moved into my house. Quality of them is superb!

As above, love how easy it is to install and use, all my music is straight from the iPad.

Would a Play5 to replace the Play3 in the living room and the PlayBar is awesome! But they're a hell of a lot of money

Where do you need 3 Bridges? One should be enough shouldn't it?

Yeh usually one is enough but the house is pretty big with granite walls which wifi struggles to penetrate. I don't use all of them but they were free with 2 x Play1's and the Playbar.

I was going to stick them on Ebay but it seems Sonos' free offer has swamped Ebay with cheap ones at the moment.

Anyone got the sub? I was wondering what it was like in conjunction with the Playbar.

I bought a play1 a couple of weeks ago and tbh it's genius. Dead easy to set up and I still can't believe how well it works across platforms, I can stream music off of my phone (Android) and control it from my iPad (iOS5, so no direct streaming) with out a problem.

Ah I see, yeah the offer is a bit of a pain for that. Thing is, the bridge is about £40 on its own and yet you can have it free when buying a speaker. Shame Sonos won't buy them back off you.

I've messed about with a PlaySub, they are mental! For music you'd need a pretty big room as they are bit over powering but I imagine mated to a PlayBar it should more controlled.

I have two 5s in the living room and a 3s in the kitchen and main bathroom. Sound quality and ease of use both very good. Saving up for a play sub. Should keep the neighbours happy!

How do you turn off the power to the sonos speakers when not in use?

I'm looking for a wireless speaker I can place on top of my kitchen units but I'd need to be able to turn off the power remotely, some Bluetooth speakers come with a remote that would do this, but presumably the sonos speakers don't come with a remote? I know you can download sonos apps, but I'm guessing they're more about the music playlists?

Love Sonos and recently bought a Sonos 1 to add to the collection. Very impressed with the sound quality of the little unit, actually prefer it to the Sonos 3.

I'm interested in this and will probably end up buying a Sonos sound bar and a few speakers in the near future. The sound bar seems to have very good reviews. Quite pricey though.
