No YouTube app on iPad now? Try this.
Since iOS6, the YouTube app was dropped.
No worries I thought, I'll just use the website. However, lots of videos still want the FlashPlayer, or at least Safari keeps triggering the Flash versions over the ones the iPad can actually play.
Bit crap really.
Anyway, free app called "Jasmine" on the AppStore works really well, and love the interface. Worth a look.
Cheers

Same here and i'm not aware of any feature improvement that will benefit me as an iphone 4 and ipad 2 owner so staying with ios5 until i'm persuaded otherwise. As far as I can see I lose features such as youtube and google maps. No thanks.

Try Youtube and Google Maps as web apps first, if it's bearable then upgrade. The benefits of the new OS may well outweigh your dependance on two apps.

I don't even use them, I just refuse to move to something that is a downgrade. It seems any new features in ios6 aren't available for iphone 4 and ipad 2 users or lower revisions of the hardware and at the same time 2 built in features I currently have available are removed.
