Default Sky anytime+

As I pay a small fortune to Sky per month I can get the above ... they recommend attaching the router by cable (ffs) to the tv / Sky box which seems somewhat antiquated?! Can I connect it without wires & if so what's the best solution?

If the pictures will be streamed from sky to you, wired is the preferred method for picture quality purposes.

You can get wireless Ethernet bridges but they cannot handle the upload/download speeds necessary to make it work

Yes, you can connect without wires - sky will happily take your good money and give you a wireless device.

If you know what you're doing then you could simply purchase a wireless access point which would be a lot cheaper.

The wireless strength on my PS3 was a bit crap so I bought these, and they work perfectly.

Would be ideal for your sky box as well:

Plug em in, use the supplied patch cables and pair the plugs (press a button each) and job done.
