I will say in Win 7 the login screen and control panel certainly need sorting out. XP login screen was better
These things aside Win 7 is awesome........and I'm sure Win 8 will be as well

the right click thing is what MS are trying to combat, by sticking the ribbon interface in IE for windows 8.
they maintain that users go for the right-click route, so they're going to stick controls to cover '84% of common use controls' in a ribbon that takes 10%+ space of your browser window.

The images shown of Windows 8 Explorer remind me of the mess that is Windows Mail.
To think that I found Outlook Express for home use really good, but Windows Mail is an abortion of a program. But you can't get Outlook Express for Windows 7.
