Is it possible to hack an ipod so you don't have to upload stuff using itunes?

or have you always been abel to do that?

or via CopyTransManager or via OpenSSH(check google for tutorials,how to do) you can upload apps,music,etc

its only music i wanna put on, don;t want to put apples ****e on my comp, so shall try to get hold of a cheap ipod to wack music in for use in car. cheers

Why not get a cheap Zune and put some more Microsoft **** on your computer, there must be loads around.
