Scoobynet logs me off!!!
The family computer is a Windows Machine running Vista.
If I log on to Scoobynet it confirms that I have logged on and then when it loads up the forum it shows that no-one is logged in and asks me to log in...
...except on IE it is fine, but on Firefox and Chrome it does this.
I deleted associated cookies to no avail.
Any thoughts (other than don't use Wintei)?

My Aspire one does something similar. When I come on to the Scoobynet forum I log on, get the blue box up that says I have logged on but the home page is still empty in the user name and password box. If a go to any other pages I'm logged on but the home page is still asking me to log on.
My Acer laptop running Vista and IE8 has forgot to 'remember me' a few times recently as well.

Cookies are my thought as well. You say you have deleted associated cookies, have you checked to see if there are ANY *.scoobynet.* cookies around. I know I had problems a while back as I had cookies from bbs . scoobynet .com, www . scoobynet . com.
The solution I found was to login to SN, then logout of SN, then clear all cookies, clear browser cache and history, quit and relaunch the browser (if you can clear cookies whilst the browser is not running even better) and then access the site ONLY via bbs . scoobynet .com and then login and see if it sticks.

Yeah - I thought I had cleared all 'Scoobynet' cookies...but there may be one lurking there.
Also funny how it affects both Firefox and Chrome - first time I used Chrome I got the issue - so I guess it is sharing the cookie. Not IE though.

i have noticed this and I use I.E
I think Snet might have changed (reduced) the logged on user session timout on the backend databases, or just modified how session cookies are handled
maybe when they had the DOS attacks late last year
