It'll be a double-hammering, as we've got the keynote tomorrow and I seem to recall that things take a drop at that point too.
It is interesting to see the CEO of a large company releasing a public letter about their private matters, I can't see Bill Gates doing the same thing, nor Steve "Monkey Boy" Balmer.

Apple's last MacWorld keynote today also - they're sick of the stock drops after these things when all the rumoured new stuff doesn't appear as "one more thing". Think from now they're going with calling a conference at short notive like they do with iPod's in September.
A shame though - I quite enjoy watching the podcasts of the keynotes, and they won't be the same without Jobs.
Get well soon fella - at they think they know whats wrong with you now!

True, the webcasts of the keynotes is one thing I look forward to
Apple is the master of churning up the speculation/rumour mills but unfortunately with that comes the expense of being subject to volatile market drops when ever there is bad news, no news or the wrong kind of news for them.
