Question OperaMini as a mobile phone web browser?

Is anyone using Operamini as a mobile phone web browser?

I cant get it to display this Scoobynet forum correctly (using a Nokia N95 8GB) – any ideas?

Or any other suggestions for a mobile phone web browser, the standard one on the phone was struggling with quite a few sites. Opreramini is a huge improvement for most sites but not Scoobynet!

Cheers, Carl.

Opera mini works very well for me on Windows mobile devices. Set it to mobile view mode (if you have this option on the Nokia) and it seems to be fine.

Cheers escott, that is somewhat better.
I can log on now and view the threads but it is displaying them in sort of a “corridor” view and you loose that great zoom tool.

Do you know if there is a setting to zoom out in this mode? Doesn’t help if I switch the phone to landscape view either.

Hey mart, I remember you helping with the settings through the Vodafone Live homepage when I first got the phone.

Got there in the end!
Not sure how but tried with a combination of the Vodafone live settings and the Mobile View setting on Opera and the Scoobynet forum pages came to life!

At the moment it works with either of the Vodafone live settings but with the Opera Mobile View setting un-checked.

First impressions of Operamini are excellent compared with the standard browser.
No back button or no zoom setting for the page (after the initial zoom in) though?

Cheers, Carl.

Is it possible to make it look at the normal Hotmail rather than the hotmail mobile version?

I use Opera Mini on my Nokia E71 and it's superb. Also Opera for the desktop has been my browser of choice on the PC for 7-8 years.
