Can anyone suggest some good fax software for the PC that allows me to send fax's direct via the modem? (already use Efax to receive).
thanks

If you're using XP, it has its own fax software which can be installed from the CD.
Otherwise Phonetools or Symantec Winfax Pro.
(I use the XP one at home, and Winfax Pro at work - Winfax is the better of the two, but costs, whilst the XP one is FOC)

Damn, that's me out of the question then!
From what I remember though, Win 98 has it's own faxing software (Symantec if I remember right). All you need to do is enable it, and this can be done by searching through the help file in Outlook. This will install the software, and allow you to use it from any application, not just Outlook.
Hope this helps,
Scott
