Default Anyone recommend some good laptop speakers for music?

I want some stereo speakers as an improvement over the built in ones on my laptop, 99% for music. NOT 5.1 etc, just stereo.
My laptop is pretty much used in the same position so portability not paramount, just something that sounds good.

cheers
Paul.

not the cheapest, but they are REALLY good.

Amazon.co.uk: JBL Creature II White Mac/Win: Electronics & Photo

I've got some Yamaha ProAudio ones that I picked up by accident a few years ago (reduced from £200 to £100-odd)

Hope this helps

As an alternative, the Tesco range of Technika 2.1 speakers sound great, yeah you get a sub and 2 satellite speakers but these do sound so good & only 14 or 15 quid. Bargain!
