Hello

I mentioned here a while ago that I had someone on my network. Well, they were there again today.

Two seconds search on the internet found ICQSniff. I installed it and had her messages on MSN coming up.

How scary is that?

Of course I can't wait to try the program on a public network now

It is a wireless network and it isn't secure, so my fault.

Yes I did as I could monitor her teenage girl drivel on MSN (and hence could see her ID and send her a message). I would have watched for longer but the absolutely appalling spelling and grammar was starting to irritate me.

Having said that it obviously didn't work as she was there again last night, so a phone call to her parents is next. Although someone who doesn't know about computers is going to be freaked about the fact that someone can work out if you are using a network.

Is it possible that she has connected in ignorance? If both yours and her networks are both insecure..... I can see three 'TalkTalk's and two 'BT Home Hub's right now and only one is properly secured.

Sounds like it me.

Girl, doesn't know what she's doing, happy that she's chatting with her mates but wonders who the loser is who keeps telling her to **** off.

And if your network is insecure, what can you expect? It is is secure, how the hell she get on?
