Default Whos the best ISP out of these 2

Bt (opt 3) or Eclipse evolution.

Choices have come down to these 2 as they offer what I need and want.

Who would you say is the better 1?

To be honest, I don't think either of them are particularly good. What was your criteria to get down to those two?

Simple, unlimited download (ok there are bandwith limits during peak hours) and available in my area.

Bethere aren't. 3 other ISP's are customers of the company I work with, lets just say I know more about them than I'd like.

1 advantage of BT is that if things go horribly wrong, work will step in and help sort it.

If you don't know about others doesn't mean they are good. Don't kid yourself about unlimited downloads, there is no such thing. BT will limit your connection if you download 60 Gb/month on unlimited due to fair use policy. When you try to move away from bt you need to speak to idiot who would pretend he knows what you want better than you and will ruin your day/evening other than that they aren't bad. If you want quality get zen or bulldog.

If you cannot get Be*There, then Zen is a good option. It is expensive though and capped: But at 50gb you do have to go some to get to it as unlike other ISP's it is DOWNLOAD only.

Im with BT option 3, its unlimited downloads with speed limits at 1800 to 0000hrs. I usually download 80gig to 100gig a month and ive never been questioned about it and thats 13 months now. There customers service is a complete joke a total waste of time.

The only reason why ive stayed with them, as their unlimited option 3 is unlimited. Ive been kicked off AOL / ORANGE / TESCO / VIRGIN all within its first month for heavy downloading.

If you do go with BT their homehub is locked down with all the tweaks removed, but theres ways of getting around this and putting in an unlocked bios, and locking out BT from trying to lock it down again. Simple 5min job and when its unlocked the hub gains more download speed.
