Thumbs up Free adware, spyware and malware blocker

As above really any good free software or good web sites or failing that what to buy LOL

I used to use adaware 2007 on my old (dead) XP machine so I have a new HP running Vista Home Premium.

Thanks

Superantispyware - google it.

thought spybot was about the best there was until I recently tried this particular programme, worth checking out.

Yep as above I had to use it last night, picked up 81 infections and seems to have got shot of all of them. Not had a pop up today or those warnings that a Browser Helper Object wants to install.

Well to be honest mate there is not a lot between them and the free version would probably be enough for most anyway, the pro version has the ablity to set up automatic scan ie. you could scan your pc during the night when you are asleep and also it has the abllty to stop spyware etc as its getting to your pc as opposed to letting it on and then removing later.

the pro version is available as a free 15 day trial anyway, so would suggest having a play around with it and see what you think ??
