Default File Transfer from NAT to NAT via the Internet

here's what i want to do...

to file transfer from one PC to another PC. both PCs are in different location and are connected to the internet via DSL using NAT.

email is not an option or yousendit.com, etc.

google yourself a "free FTP server", set it up on the source PC
use an FTP client on the target computer to receive the file

the temporary IP address allocated to you by your ISP will be fine, but realise its subject to change

updated: I corrected the terminology

Windows live messenger and ICQ support file transfers. ICQ allows broken transfers to be resumed.
