Just can't see how it's going to work.
The first online race, I'm on a bike, some random yanks are in their Saleens, first corner... SMACK they've rammed into me.
Now do I;
1) Get knocked off and by the time I've ran back to the bike I'll be last
2) Just bounce off the barrier and continue on
3) Get spun round but stay on the bike in the most unrealistic way?

My guess about the Bike vs Car situation is that there will be a "no damage" type option, which means you can hit, or be hit, when on a bike and it won't knock you down, same kind of thing you'd have if you were in a car. With the option off then you can obviously be taken out by some fat dumb septic, but one hopes you'd race against people who have a little bit of common sense and courtesy and aren't out to just pin you to the armco. There's also the fact that a bike is probably going to be faster and more nimble than most of the cars, as in the real world. So even if you do end up at the back after a fall, you should be able to make up ground far more quickly than you would in a car.

If you search this forum for the previous pgr4 thread there were a couple of links to reviews of people who've played the bike mode, cant remember what they said but a quick search will answer all your questions.

I dont mind being beaten, by somebody faster but it really winds me up when they make no effort to overtake, all their effort goes into making you crash.
I suppose thats how there defence policy works so why would it be any different ?
Apologies to any sporting Americans, there are some but by and large the younger ones that infest live ruin it and are the reason I cant be arsed anymore.
