Share price display SW?
I have to get a demo together which displays changing share prices over time. Throughout the day basically. It'll be from canned data (recorded somehow - not my problem that bit) and will run on a Windoze box. The idea though is to show the effect of runnning your 'stocks analysis SW' (I'm sure it has a pukka name ....) on a faster system than your competition thus being able to trade more 'advantageously' ... So it would need to be able to add some information to simulate this effect ...
I've grabbed some stuff from my mate Google but if anyone has any other ideas please feel free to shout ...

so you need a socket server that spits data over a channel
and a client that asynchronously subscribes to said socket channel and when an update is sent/published, the subscriber auto updates the value on screen?
you're seriously re inventing the wheel here, unless you've found a faster method of course?
