Anyone else get this ?

About once every 4-5 times I play this game I get a "can't read disk" error & have to re-boot. Usually it happens in-between games (like when its loading something) but a couple of times its happened mid-game.

I have several games, but havn't played any of them, so dont know if its the disk or the XBox, but I have a friend who has the same thing.

Any ideas ? Its a new Xbox360 - bought a few weeks ago.

I had the same thing happen in the same spot though (in the casino near the cashiers office) and every time the 'trigger' for the enemies to appear the bloody thing froze, got pissed off,wiped the save game and it worked fine.

My current 360 is from 3 months after lauch date

I had exactly the same thing myblackwrx. I tried deleting the save game but it didnt work. So I swapped my disc with a mate and then it was ok! Xbox broke in the end though (red lights) and since its return its been perfect.

My brother had the same thing with his. Eventually the machine wouldn't read any 360 disc at all, so he took it back to the shop and had it replaced.

Was getting this quite often with Forza 2 & Oblivion. I deleted the cache and it hasnt been so bad since.

Never had this with R6V but know plenty of others have.
I get the thing freeze up quite often and the new maps take an age to load...

Yep Happens to me a few times. Did to me tonight and also threw me offline. Had to reboot the XBOX just to get it back. Only then to find when I Accepted a game invite I got the black screen. This game is very buggy.....
But addictive...
