Default Help - Installing Office on new PC

Hi Guys,

I want to install Microsoft Office Professional on my new PC - its installed on the old one but I don't have the CD's - got teh serial number though.

Is it possible to get it off the old PC or could I get a torrent, burn it to CD and install it from there?

Not trying to pirate anything, just sick of having to boot up my other PC to use Office....

Cheers

Richard

You should find if you can get hold of another OEM office disc or image that you can uninstall it from your old pc and perform a new installation.

Is the old PC from a big outfit? They might supply the install media for a couple of quid if you say you've lost it.

no, not a big outfit they have closed down now.....

So I could get hold of a torrent image and reinstall - unless anyone has a OEM disc I can borrow/send me a copy of (I'll pay for disc and postage)? Anyone know of a good torrent link its Office 2002?

Try OpenOffice? You can put that on as many machines as you like for nothing...
