Widescreen Monitor Recommendations
In the market for a new monitor - work is picking up the tab, so I have pretty much a free choice. This is going to be used mostly with my Mac, so DVI input would be preferred. I would prefer a widescreen 19" + that's about it really.
I could possibly get one of the lovely Apple displays, but they are expensive and I'm not sure if they're that much better. I've seem some nice Samsung's for around £300 ish
Main use will be work related.
Any recommendations?

Pick up this months PCPro mag, they have done a full testing on 20-24" LCD screens.
Their top pick was the 22" Dell E228WFP at £304. And their Favourite alternative is the 20" Philips Brilliance 200WP7ES at £286.

I got an HP w19 from PC World of all places. Really nice - PITA to switch between DVI and VGA input through the menu instead of a dedicated button, but for 150 I couldn't go wrong. I initially went in there for a black floppy drive

Go with the 22" dell above. I have the 20" 2007WFP and its truely the best monitor I have used.
22" uses the same resolution (1680 x 1050) but it will be much easier on your eyes espicially if its mainly for office use.

I just bought a 20'' Samsung SM205BW which is HD ready and also comes with a 3 year warranty for £178 excluding VAT. It seems good value for money having looked at the alternatives.
