Default Telephone Recording Software

Hi All

I'm after some telephone recording software. We use Retell at the moment and it keeps going wrong and generally being a pain in the ***.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks

Lou

Symposium is very good, for both recording and statistics

You can set up caller groups very easily too

Symposium seems a bit over kill doesnt it? its more of a full on CTI software package than just a call recorder. I could point you in the right direction but I wont seeing as theyre a competitor of ours

Meant to say, we don't need anything too advance. We have a Department which carries out Customer Satisfaction Surveys, so we just need a simple program which will record the calls, allow us to play them back and type up the reports then archive them.

Unfortunately not no, I think we have something in the pipeline of developing a current product but not heard anything for a while. I'll ask about in the office and let you know if there is something, I can definately say there is nowt on my shelves at the minute though that I can send out. Sorry

Hello

True, although we will play with smaller centers as well particularly for IP.

And I can recommend both products, allthough they are deployed in large call centre's its not normal to deploy them to all agents, or should I say they are deployed to 'smaller' groups. And it works well.. so would work for multiple / smallish groups..

Nice would probably be a little OTT though!!

Can recommend CTI too.

We use NICE as well, it's great and really detailted, might be over kill for you though. Our agents base is small (60 on one system and 50 on another system) but we have loads of room for growth if needed.

We have Sympoisum as well but only use it for call assignment to agents. I never knew it did call recording....your learn something new each day.

We use another product for reporting the data from Symposium.

a bit vague question really, a bit more background would give us a better idea as to what is best...
What phone system are you using, what lines are you using, i.e. ISDN or analogue... ISDN2? ISDN30?
The rettel kit is ok if you get the right one and its setup correctly.
If your using IP phones then there are alot more issues relating to recording the calls and what system your using... you should still be abale to record all calls via the trunks though. I'm a VOIP specialist, but haven't had much to do with any VOIP recording software, so can't give a recormendation...

Sorry the question is abit vague. Its not actually my field. The MD wanted it reviewed and the Supervisor responsible for this department just asked me to help him find something.

Anyways, thanks for everyones help. I have passed your suggestions on, so they will be looked into and will direct Trevor here if he needs further help. He will also be able to give more information about his setup than me.
