Default can i install modem without cd?

is it possible to install modem without the instalation cd its a diamond supraexpress pro sup2311 any help please

Yeah it'll be fine then, plug it in go into control panel "Phone and Modem Options", modem tab, add

i will try that, one other thing you might be able to help with when i try and connect to net a message appears saying "firewall blocking access" but when i go to the fire wall settings aol is "allowed full access". spoke to aol helpline in pakistan!! i think .got to concentrate to understand what they are saying

You can set up connection specific firewall setting.

Go into control panel - network connection

Right cilck + properties on your connection to the internet (i assume it'll be in here as you're connecting to the internet and its not on all the time).

Click the advanced tab, then firewall settings button. It might be On in there, if not I dont know whats showing the "firewall blocking access" message. If thats the exact message then I dont know, if it isnt, put the exact message in here word for word and I'll try and find out from google.
