Due to the imminent HD, they'll be loads of Sky+ boxes hitting eBay soon. You'll get one at a bargain price, plus you won't have to sign another contract with Sky if you provide your own box. Also, if you have Movies or Sports package (or both), the £10 Sky+ subs are waived too.

Yeah was gonna say, phone to cancel, they will do whatever it takes to keep you as a paying customer.

If it does go wrong and they do cancel you can always ring back up and tell em you changed ya mind, then give it another go a while later.

If this is true I wouldnt mind a 160gb model. What are sky like about changing boxes as I when I got a replacement the engineer had to call up and match the box to my viewing card?

Simon.

Yes - £300 for the box and an extra £10 a month for the HD additions to your existing package (ie if you get Sports but not movies your extra £10 will get you HD Sports but not HD movies)

cheaper to do your own disc upgrade.... however I am concerned about the perceived numbers of faulty sky+ units that have to be swapped out.

Robbing *******s!
I'm sick of technology moving forward all the time.
Why can't they just come up with the best thing there is now, today and then put a stop to all this nonsense by not making any new stuff for abit.
It's Beta-max all over again.
