World Soccer Winning Eleven 9
Just played it on the Xbox and its better than Pro Evo 5! Its improved lots and its bloody fantastic! The animation of the players is vastly improved, goal scoring, tackling and passing is sooo much better, in fact the graphics are just superb.
Why do Konami do it though, make so many Winning Eleven versions for the Japanese/US market and not release them in Europe? So 9 Winning Eleven versions and 5 Pro Evo versions If this is whats to come though and is only a start on what Pro Evo 6 is going to be like I can't wait. If this comes out on the 360 I may have to buy one just for this

In fact just read Winning Eleven 10 comes out in August for NTSC followed by Pro Evo 6 in October for Europe. So US and Japs get 2 new versions for every 1 for Europe

No they arn't the same game though, thats what I am getting at. This version of WE is very different to Pro Evo 5 in the way the players control the ball and tackle/challenge for the ball. I've been playing the Konami series since the first ISS and this is the first time I have scored goals deflected off of defenders, controlled the ball when collecting it from a high cross, time interceptions and keep the ball etc. I thought Pro Evo was great until I played this. This is very impressive.

Blast Konomi and they're ****eness at having a version ready for the 360!!!!, still keep going back and playing as myself the hero on Pro Evo 5 though, bloomin' hard work, specially when you keep pressing the pass to me button and the computer ignores you and loses the ball......git!

I've been playing all the Konami football games, including Winning Eleven and Pro Evo, but bizarrely one of my favourites was their MLS Soccer for the US market. I thought it was bloody great. Developed by a totally different team to Seabass Takatsuka's.

Well im playing PES5 on the xbox and we9 on the xbox and graphically they are different in animation and in ball control. I would say the players in we9 are more like the players in fifa the road to the world cup or what ever it is called on the 360. The actual game and menus and options maybe the same (apart from the snowy pitches in we9) but graphically and in game they are different.
