msn messenger
I cant log on. The service is running apparently, and ive just reinstalled it and its still coming up saying it cant sign me in.
Is it working for other people?

No, Im on my own pc.
It was working fine last night then i couldnt get on, havnt been able to log on all day. I cant sign in as someone else either. Msn's trouble shoot brings up nothing and ive removed and reinstalled, and it still wont open. Web based msn works.
"Sorry we were unable to sign you in to the MSN Messenger at this time. Please try again later."

mine took a while to sign in earlier-been worse over last few days-its there end

Ensure that TLS (Transport Layer security) is enabled.
Open explorer - Tools menu - internet options advanced tab.
Scroll down the list and ensure SSL and TLS are checked - if not tick them.
Should have you sorted. You haven't been messing about with your hosts file have you??
