Question Anyone got an i-Pod Nano?

If so, you're a lucky sod.

Before I take the plunge though, I want to know if you can play .mp3 tracks on them. If so, can you drag and drop files straight in using Explorer or do you have to use the i_tunes interface?

Muchos gracias
Kav

Make sure you get a cover for it if you want to keep it looking nice. Mine was scratched to buggery within a week. You get used to it though (the scratches that is).

I have never been able to get to grips with i Tunes.
What is the best way to put either 1. MP3 files from disk on to the pod or 2. music from pre recorded CDs.
When I did the second I managed to import on to the pod but it didnt store the songs in i Tunes / the HDD.
As for the files I just tend to drag them into the "playlist" box to the left of the window.
I am no doubt doing it all wrong as everything seems to be all over the place.

Got a Nano, true about the scratches though and the Apple covers kept getting delayed. Got one from www.proportamusic.com instead with a free screen protector and its just the job. The Nano itself is fecking great!

I tend to put in a CD, create a new playlist and then drag the CD tracks into the playlist, that way it rips them off the CD and puts them where I want straight away. Then I use itunes to sync to my ipod. As above I ditched winamp for itunes and never looked back really.
