Default i-pod to alpine connection

ok guys

In the scoob i have an alpine cva 1014 tv head unit
I am looking to hook up my i-pod nano to it with the kve-420i i-pod connection kit

Just wanted to know if anyone has this set-up,or uses the kve 420i with there headunit ?

Does it give you full control of the ipod through the HU ?

Do you get full on head unit display of artist/track etc ?

Also, where abouts have you mounted the connection kit ?

cheers mark

I brought the Adaptor for my DVD HU, simple to set up, plugs straight in to the back of the HU. I've got the Alpine touch screen, and that allows me to control the ipod. Works out a better option then CD changers.

I've not set it up properly yet, but should be no reason why not. It shows on the HU, but not the screen, i thinks it's me more than the stereo why that doesn't work
