Hi Michelle - those last two entries are the mini memory dump, and the system state at the time your Windows XP SP2 p.c. crashed.

You need to look at the dmp file and hunt through it to see if there are any indications why your p.c. crashed

You won't be able to make any sense of it unless you're a complete egg-head.

It's most likely a driver, so make sure you download the latest:
BIOS,
Graphics card driver,
Sound card driver,
and chipset driver for your computer.

If it's only just started happening, think about software you've just installed. You can use System Restore to go back.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I have a great ability with PC's..........the ability to break them.

I'll look at downloading the latest drivers...............software wise, the two latest additions to the fold were winamp and real player.

I have now ascertained that the PC only seems to crash when playing mp3's. The other annoying thing is one sole pop up that appears after rebooting the PC and starting up IE. I have run adware, AV and a registry cleaner and all have indicated everything seems to be fine.

Get an update for the sound driver first then. Does it do the same thing in window media player and winamp?

Yes, crashes after about the third song.

I actually recall the initial "reboot/crashing" when I was trying to listen online to the radio. Two radio stations worked fine, then radio one requires real player which is where it all seemed to start.
Now I can't listen to online streaming and my PC is crashing........

I'll try uninstalling it and see how it goes, I have looked at updating the drivers and it seems that I have the most up to date ones.
The pop up that I cannot seem to shift no matter what I use is the media.fastclick.net. It just won't **** off.
