Default Changing ISP

I've finally got round to sorting out the frankly ludicrous cost of BT internet, and changing over to FORCE9. I've been paying £27.99 a month for ages now for what was until recently 1mb broadband. After a recent "free" upgrade to 2mb, and a 3 month @ £25.99 offer, I've decided to make the switch.
So, got my mac number from BT, ordered FORCE9's 2mb PAYG, 1gig usuage allowance from them online. £14.99 a month!
Anyone else changed, how painless/painfull is it? Will I be without my connection for days while BT sorts it all out?

chris.

Who's that with madgrip? Sounds like a top service.
I've started on the basic package for now with f9, so I'll see how my download useage goes and bump it up to the premium service if I need to.

I'd of thought your left hand would be getting a good workout rather than your right arm m8

Unlimited my @rse. I'm with NDO who state that its unlimited, but still complain if you are a heavy user

How can you put a limit on an unlimited service ??

just finishing off a move from demon to plus.net . 512 to 2meg , free activation , 3 quid a month cheaper . Loss of service was about 1/2 an hour ( while I figured out where I put the new login details ).

Bit miffed that they moved the goalposts on the fair usage/ speed offer , but it's only a monthly contract ( @ no extra cost )
