Question IIS and Redirect/Alias

Help PLEASE

is there a way of configuring IIS to redirect a request for a particular file (a JS file if your interested) to another HTTP addressable page on the same server, without the end user's browser being physically redirecting to the new page?

Cheers

J

You can't send an HTTP 30* response without the client making another request, that's what a redirect is for. You could proxy the request through, but how you will do that dynamically on IIS I don't know.

Doesn't the alias work within IIS? Alias one file in the IIS config to point to another?
