iTunes importing CD's
Im getting an ipod for xmas (on order from apple.com/uk) and i have started importing cd's into iTunes, and i want to know what format i should be using. at the mo im using mp3 @ 160kpbs, i also have some at 192 and 320 in this format.
Is this ok.

mp3 is ok, but personally I'd set it to AAC @ 192, am told this will use less disk space on the pod but the quality will be the same if not better.
I've got 4000 odd songs on the pod and was considering converting them all to AAC, but it'll take ages. If I can be bothered I'll reburn all the CD's using AAC, but again that's a nightmare.
If you've only done a few cd's then it might be wise to reimport them.
go have a look at www.ipodlounge.com a very good site for ipod users.
