The Microsoft Force Feedback are the dogs danglies. I've also heard that the Ferrari ones are not bad. The M$ ones can be had quote cheap now.

Logitech Momo Racing, about £67 on Ebuyer currently!

bought it for Live for Speed and havent looked back, has advantage of gearshift **** AND paddles.

non of them feature a clutch unfortunately.

Also there is a direct replacement set of pedals for the logitech momo racing by another company which come down from the top etc. they arent officially supported by Logitech but they've made them to plug straight in and work, they're pricy though, i'll dig the link out later!

Are the PC car games any good?

I have xbox, get my virtual car racing kicks on there, never really bothered with pc games, but a few people have said force feedback steering wheels are the nuts, and no one has bothered doing them for xbox. Plus you wouldn't wanna sit on your sofa with a steering wheel on your knees!

Hell yes, your No1 choice for realistic racing sim is Live for Speed, www.liveforspeed.com

Its awesome, its totally unforgiving but when you practice its oh so rewarding.

Outside of that you still have the usual stuff like F1 2002 (EA lost the license for 2004), NFS Underground, GP4, juiced (arcade and out soon) and anything else you can think of, oh and a game called GTR which is out soon which will be AMAZING!
