Only problem I have with BT Internet/Openworld/Yahoo mail is the 5000+ items of spam I get every day after it's all been through the BT Internet/Openworld/Yahoo filtering process(es)

Think they're in the process of migrating everyone over to the new BT Yahoo service. Means you lose all your additional email addresses - unless you stump up for their premium service.
Having said that, the webmail has be screwed for the last 4 weeks or so and isn't letting me delete anything so the spam is buiding up at an alarming rate.
About time I gave up on BT and switched over to my other account ...

there must be a large scale problem, we are with 1&1 and for most of yesterday afternoon and most of today the service has been intermittent, been receiving mails hours after they have been sent, sometimes doesnt send/receive properly.
That 386DX with 32MB RAM which sits in a room and runs all the worlds mail is obviously slowing down abit

I changed my email settings last night after having a read of the website;
smtp server had always been set to smtp.btinternet.com, now is set to mail.btinternet.com as seems better.
I have a bit of a moment last night where I couldn't send any mail through BT. Fortunately this was sorted by alterning 'smtp' to 'mail'

I've changed my account as follows:
pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk
login is now xxxxx@btinternet.com rather than xxxxx
