Question

Ok - my ADSL is being activated tomorrow (with Pipex). I've got the modem they supplied and the microfilters. The modem is USB.

My only question though is what type of cable is the one supplied that connects the modem to the microfilter (kinda looks like a small RJ45 connection)? I need to get an extension of this cable as my PC is upstairs but my phone socket is downstairs.

Any help really appreciated.

Thanks
Marc

Or use a telephone extension from downstairs and plug the filter into that upstairs ? They do say not to do it but it works fine on mine from the other bedroom to the office
