Hi guys, just a quick one.
I am on the verge of getting an Ultra 320 RAID card tomorrow and have a pair of the Fujitsu MAN3184MP drives, brand new, which I am going to stripe on my home machine. Ideally, I would like to stripe 3, so am after 1 more of those fellas
Yes, I no full well about the risks etc, which is why the home server stores all important stuff on her 200gb mirrors .
Anyway, Ideally I would like to swap for a Quantum (MAXTOR) Atlas 10K III 68 pin Ultra160 18Gb Hard Drive, which is pretty similar to the MAN drive, but I am being fussy . As far as I know, the drive is brand new, bar me opening the packaging a few times to look at her.
Also, I have an IBM DNES-318350 Ultra160 18Gb drive, which although not brand spanking new, works perfectly.
If anyone would care to swap thse 2 drives for a Fujitsu MAN3184MP, please let me know
Cheers,
Nick
