Depending on the version of Outlook.
Right click the top of the folder tree (might say Outlook Today or Personal Folders) and choose Properties.
Click the 'Advanced' button and you should see the Path to the file.
As a side not, if you plan to copy it to CD, make sure Outlook is shutdown before you burn it else it won't copy.
Chris.

Hi Chris, tried that and the properties line is greyed out, is there any other way of finding it?
I tried to export the address book and it said it had been exported, but where to God only knows.

What version of Outlook?
Do you have a Services option on your Tools Menu? If so, your Personal Folder should be in there and you can check the path that way.

IIRC outlook express creates dbx files, not sure if u can use/view
pst's with it or not.
Top menu bar, go to tools\options, maintenance tab.
Click on the "store folder" button
this gives the path where inbox etc is stored. Go to that location in windows explorer u should see them all.

Thanks guys, I've found them and backed them up onto CD.
A while ago my hard disk broke and I had no backup of mail files, so lost everything from the last 2 years, I'm trying to be more organised now.
Cheers,
Dan
