Thought about the BlueTooth but not sure on the power side. ie the drain on the receiver and the ipaq would both need a seperate power suppy.
Have purchase the software already so just need the hardware.
Looking on ebay there are the gps mouse and domes available, but I do like the look of the navman and the emtac jackets.
But no one seems to be doing any good offers at the moment.
Dafe.

My Ipaq runs from the ciggy lighter in the car. The Emtac BT GPS ran fine for 7 hours in the car. Got to my destination so turned it off. It hadn't even reported low battery yet.

My vote goes to TomTom, although Im looking at Destinator 2
Im just waiting for Trafcam too, so I can have Road Angel type camera detection running alongside TomTom

Puff, I didnt think it ran inside TomTom, more in the background, polling TomTom for your position, instead of trying to use the GPS Reciever, and then it brings itself to the foreground to alert you of cameras
I havent got my GPS reciever, and am undecided on which one to go for on Ebay, the standalone one for 85 quid, or the other one which is a CF one, with a free external antenna for 95 quid
I know the 85 quid one, is powered by the cigarette lighter, but does this supply power to the Ipaq also, or do you need another cigaretter lighter socket?

You can do this today with TomTom and a POI add on there, are 4 to choose from.
check out http://www.pocketgps.co.uk
Personally I use checkpoint as its free

I've got an XDA (read iPaq with integral GSM/GPRS) & I use a Haicom GPS receiver. That comes with a cigarette lighter power adaptor with a lead for the pda & a lead running to the GPS receiver. This supplies power to both items & re-charges XDA at the same time GPS receiver including lead is £80 inc VAT from someplace I can't remember at this exact moment
The one on eBay is much the same but be warned that you will need to specify the equipment to which it is being attached.
Do a search back on this subject in the last 2 weeks in this forum & it's all here, including vehicle specific holders from http://www.brodit.com
Reason I don't use my EMTAC? Well, no BlueTooth on an XDA I use it on my lappy instead
