Just recently got B/band. When I get music from Kazaa sometimes it downloads at normal ISP speed ie 3KBs and at other times its really fast at about 30 Kbs. Why is this.

maybe the person uploading to you, may still only have 56K connection, hence 3Kbps !

On a side note...
Anyone got a link to the "original kazza" without the mass pop ups, installers etc, etc
I thought I'd put kazzaa on this new machine... got so fecked off with it I took it off again... and a week to find all the little "other" programs it had installed too. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

What ***** me off about Kazaa though, Is that I have now downloaded 5 different versions of a popular song (black eyed Peas) and every single one has been corrupt in some way. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

It wouldn't be so bad if I was on BB but I'm still on 56K and they took all night and all morning...... and I still have not got a working copy

I've found that there are more and more corrupt or incomplete mp3's on Kazaa recently.

From what I know this is down to the record companies swamping it with these versions to put people off downloading them. It only tends to happen to new releases though.

i'm using kazaa lite. seams to be better. gives you a user rating of 1000 which is nice.

what u wanna do is ...when u do a search tick the auto search more box
then itll keep searching and searching automaticly
and u end up with loads of sources
also if u get a slow download ..pause and resume it every now and then
itll kick it into life
