Anyone buying?
Heard mixed reports from the US/Jap release, some saying it's best yet, others saying the forumla is getting a little tired now.

Yeah, all RE games are Nintendo exclusives due to the deal with Capcom.

Completed Resisdent Evil on the GC and was well impressed. i just luv the atmosphere of the games, pity the film didn't have the same eerie feel aswell.

It' not arf bad!
Starts off weird, you're on a train, where the passengers are infected with the virus (how you ask, well that would spoil the plotline).
the partner zapping (and controlling 2 people at once) works really well, epsecially when you have to stop the train and activate the brakes from different parts of the train (2 characters at once).
It's best you play and complete RE first otherwise major plots (Weskers true role in things) will be spoilt if you play RE0 beforehand.
The graphcs are still up there with the RE GC Remake, and the cutscenes outstanding.
Don't expect a lot of zombies in this game (remeber, this is set just after the virus broke out, and it takes a while to infect and take over people), however there is a lot of animal zombies/mutants to deal with (bats, scorpions, etc).
All in all, very good and very scary (especially at night with the surround sound and the lights off).
Shame they're not redoing the graphics in 2 and 3

Eternal Darkness is worth a look, as a variation on the survival horror theme.

I had a quick go at Silent Hill 2 for the PC, which is quite creepy too.

Is eternal Darkness any good? I've heard good things about it but the graphics look a iffy for a nextgen game. I've heard it plays more like a hack 'em up then a resident evil type game

Pinkeye - yeah, Eternal Darkness is more hack-n-slash + puzzle solving.. graphically, TBH, its not good at all compared to other GC and Xbox games... I've got to give it more time, as I haven't really got into it yet, as I get bored quickly.
