Some clever chappie has just released a version of the Nordschleife in its current format, as it is today complete with the Grone hole cafe!

Download the track here!
http://garage.racesimcentral.com

You should be able to pick up the game for £5, it will need patching to the latest version of the game.
http://www.theuspits.com/fbody/scgt/files/scgt1551_vd2.zip

Then you need to install some files which allow add ons to be installed.
http://www.theuspits.com/fbody/scgt/files/ban_scene_mas2.3.zip

When you have done it, post some times for the standard M3 and 911.

Sorry if you end up wasting a day!

As a guide I just did a quick 1 lap race with no other cars.

Car number 1 - GT3 BWM M3 399bhp - 7mins 42 secs
Car Number 99 - GT2 Porsche 911 496bhp - 7mins 14 secs.

I've got it but have a problem when I pit - it takes off the frpnt spoiler every time I exit.

No doubt it will be remedied. Brilliant track though!

PS Haven't found a spare DIN cage as yet, but will keep asking about.

Thumbs up

I have a few more times for ya!

The 2 cars you start with, unmolested and untuned.
M3 #1 - 7.25
911 #99 - 6.58

I have also downloaded a couple of le man racers

Porsche 962 - 6.19
porsche 956 - 6.14

Wicked game dudes! I still think the games is better with the slower cars.

Have fun

BMW M3 #10 (I accidentally modified #1) 7.48. But I did go off twice (the accidents are getting closer to the end of the lap now, and it's surprising how many of the sharpish-looking carners can be taken in 5th).

Some of the bends are really tight though, and the car feels big for the road. What do you think?

Thoroughly enjoying it still, though the Porker has too much understeer for my liking. Can we adjust the standard settings without buying any mods?

BTW, someone on here asked if anyone had won the lottery, well in SCGT I have - I've got nearly 10,000,000 credits.

I have a £20 Joy pad with analogue controls that I got from PC world.

DW - I trust you are selecting the "Direct" option from the graphics options, before you start the game? I also don't have any other cars in my races.

Yep, and some of the corners look the same too!

Some of the bends are really tight though
If ever you go in real life - make sure you stand at Adneau Forst, and watch the people come round the very tight left hander, straight over the gravel trap!

the car feels big for the road
Yeah, it would be perfect if they made the car a little smaller, I have downloaded the Spa track and the car is smaller on that one.

PLEASE HELP

I've got to load this on my pc as I love the Ring for real and gotta have this!!!!!!

Trouble is i'm not very clued up when it comes to pc's. I got a copy of SCGT included with a force-feedback wheel and have loaded that succesfully but when I downloaded the Ring bits it asks where I want to save to etc and I haven't got a clue. Is there any order I have to download/save and to where and how do I add it to the original game???????

Any help would be gratefully received

Tony

OK dude,

Download the latest patch first, right click and save as...
http://www.theuspits.com/fbody/scgt/...gt1551_vd2.zip

Then you need to install some files which allow add ons to be installed, again right click and save as........
http://www.theuspits.com/fbody/scgt/...ene_mas2.3.zip

Read all the instructions, and follow every stage, if you do exactly as it says, you will be ok.

The download the track, read the readme.txt and do what it says.

Good luck!
