Thermal printer
With the amount of sales going up and switching exclusively to UPS for shipping, I'm going through a lot more paper and ink.
I am now looking into thermal printers, but does anyone here use one? Are they efficient, after initial cost and labels are taken into account? Are they temperamental things?

I've worked a lot with Zebra thermal transfer barcode printers which can be a real pain with heads needing cleaning and ribbon issues. That said, TNT supplied us a direct thermal printer for labels and it's been great, no issues at all. Depending on your spend, UPS might supply one for free.

We have a few thermal printers, paper is cheap and never had an issue with them.
But we are using rolls as they are for the tills.
Samsung ELLIX 20 is what we use which is probably not ideal for your situation?

Use around 10 thermal printers here (rangine from small Zebra LP2844 to zebra Z6M+ printers and to be honest, given the amount of labels we run off per day, they are easy to deal with. New thermal printheads are trés expensive though.

Thanks guys.
Sent a quick email to my man in UPS and will see what he suggests himself.
UPS suggest a few thermal printers on their site, but googling the names doesn't exactly bring much up in terms of reviews...
