I can only laugh at some peoples inability to see the similarities, I'm amazed really I am.
Honestly, am I the only person on Scoobynet that sees it? The rest of the internet sees it for what it is, a blatant rip off by the chinese.

I'm amazed that the phone belt clip hasn't come back into fashion...last time I had one of them when I had a NEC G9 brick (same battery life as the average smartphone too LOL )
iPhone needs a case? So lets make it look/act like a Panasonic Toughpad. LOL
Begs the qeustion, how to you transports these goliathans (be it the original, or the waves of iClones and similar) now they don't fit in the average normal-sized jeans pocket...unless you wear jeans baggier than Jay-Z.

If you're into stretch denim then you might have an issue with larger devices, mine sticks out about 10mm back or front pocket.
The case I need fits my mounts www.quadlockcase.com wish they'd hurry up.
Just spotted the belt clip mount so you'll be alright.

But to be fair, if you compare it to the rest of the historical Lenovo S-series range it looks like it continues the consistent evolution of the S-series range:
http://shopap.lenovo.com/my/en/smartphones/s-series/
or even more so from the VIBE X
http://shopap.lenovo.com/my/en/smartphones/vibe/vibe-x/
This isn't like a company that has made flip phones that has suddenly pushed out a IP6 clone - if the IP6 didn't exist and Lenovo had released this design, it would look very much consistent to their previous design ethos.

That vibe looks quite nice, but the new one looks much more like the iPhone than the Vibe. The best bit is the antenna band, they even copied the ****ty bits.

I went to buy a tv today and virtually every tv looked the same as its a 16.9 shape so what do you expect them to do? This is the same with phones, apple tries to patent the obvious then tries to sue when it looks like a phone. Its a rectangle shape and it has a screen what do you expect phones to look like?

Have you not seen the appeal documents highlighting Samsung's products design prior to the iPhone. These documents were suppressed in the original case, but will get a full airing in the supreme court appeal. Apple will wish they never started any litigation, having achieved virtually nothing, after 4 years have not been paid anything from either highly publicised cases. All other cases around the world achieved nothing and have now apple has abandoned all cases.

It's shameful how these companies could get away with blatant copying, nothing new, there's even fake food! It's obvious to the majority of people, but some like you wear the emperors clothes.

What I don't quite get is why Mr lg didn't sue apple for copying my prada / viewty back in 2007 , very clearly a direct rip off
I guess there wasn't enough money to combat the Apple lawsuit machine.
