Default The sun came out, so did my poorboys wax.

I took advanage of the sun to give it a waxing.

I am no Photographer as you can see.

very sexy. i did mine yesterday, started panicking mid polish when it started raining , but i soldiered on. its a shame my phone camera cant capture the shine on the paintwork, or id post piccies too.


whats your method if you dont mind me asking...

And to elaborate...........

Seriously though not much more than that.

I don't usually have the time to spend hours on the car but after the wash I use Poorboys blue polish, then apply the Poorboys blue wax.

I don't use any paricular cloths, just a leather to dry it and a soft hand towel for the wax etc.

I know some won't approve of my simple method but it works for me.

Poorboys is good stuff used by many on hear and works for me too. I don't know about Maguiars i've never tried it.

Cheers mate - is the stuff you use in that list ? couldn't see it - is it the blue paste and the carnuba you use ?

Poorboys carnuba blue polish and wax. It is there somewhere.

Is'nt it amazing the sun comes out and so does the wash n wax, I only spent 2 hours on her, roll on summer time when I can give her more time and attention. Its meguiars NXT all the way for me.

looks nice bob!!!!! black is best !!!! how long did it take ya !! i've been lookin a gettin some new wax think i'll try collonite as they say it lasts a long time ,also for swirl marks a lot of people recommend auto glmm srp or megs nxt as it has fillers in it ,then a good wax over the top ,

me !!! not much i pick up a few thing's hear n there though!!! the poorboy's products are really good i'm going for the full shabang ,meg's quick clay followed by pb's srr2 swirl remover polish then its a toss up between pb's natty's blu or colinite 915 the collinite is supposed to last longer though

if you use a good polish like meg's nxt of autoglym srp that should be fine but for lasting protection and that deep wet look shine you put a coat of wax over the top, take a look at this site it has lots of tip's and how to guides

can i ask what wax anyone would remommend after olishing with meguiars nxt polish, as thats what i use on my red scoob. how do you apply wax? no ideas, never done it. i apply polish with a pad, and buff it with a microfibre mitt...
