The sun came out, so did my poorboys wax.
I took advanage of the sun to give it a waxing.

And to elaborate...........
Seriously though not much more than that. I don't usually have the time to spend hours on the car but after the wash I use Poorboys blue polish, then apply the Poorboys blue wax. I don't use any paricular cloths, just a leather to dry it and a soft hand towel for the wax etc. I know some won't approve of my simple method but it works for me.;) |
Nice, black cars do look very smart after a good wash and polish:cool:

Jeez that looks the dogs danglies mate. Very shiny

Is it better than Maguiars ? Poorboys is good stuff used by many on hear and works for me too. I don't know about Maguiars i've never tried it. Buy it from Ebay or Car Care Products - Protect |
Cheers mate - is the stuff you use in that list ? couldn't see it - is it the blue paste and the carnuba you use ?

looks nice bob!!!!! black is best !!!! how long did it take ya !! i've been lookin a gettin some new wax think i'll try collonite as they say it lasts a long time ,also for swirl marks a lot of people recommend auto glmm srp or megs nxt as it has fillers in it ,then a good wax over the top ,
|
Wot do you know funnychimp?:luxhello:
|
me !!! not much i pick up a few thing's hear n there though!!! the poorboy's products are really good i'm going for the full shabang ,meg's quick clay followed by pb's srr2 swirl remover polish then its a toss up between pb's natty's blu or colinite 915 the collinite is supposed to last longer though
|
Why not just use polish?
|
if you use a good polish like meg's nxt of autoglym srp that should be fine but for lasting protection and that deep wet look shine you put a coat of wax over the top, take a look at this site it has lots of tip's and how to guides
