Default new to imprezas

after blowing my evo 6 up twice I've decided to move to Subaru instead.

Im looking for a nice late classic shape scoob pref sti. Found what seems to be a good one on ebay does anyone know the car?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3309485105...84.m1423.l2649

any information would be helpful to me if the power figures match what modifications it has

Abit worried that he's only had it 2 months. An is very slow to respond to ebay messages but reply quickly to my best offers

I wouldn't be paying 3700 for it though.

Personally I wouldn't pay £370 for it. No mention of who has worked on it and a lot of un heard of parts not to mention any proof of power.

hi power seems ok late spec sti blower good for it. i guess lower torque due to 2ltr and not 2.5. if its been mapped then all good apart from gearbox may let go and clutch depending on whats in there of course. standard sti internals have been used on some high power cars take andy fs old old car.As that is a wrx i would have thought its a ticking time bomb, others may not agree.

There is a mention of Clive attwel working on it. It's been mentioned that its a turbo 2000 not a wrx

wrx and turbo 2000 nearly same 2000 had even less power from factory. he has ditched most of the stuff from a 2000 so not really comparable. clives is in norwich that car is miles from here so dunno why he would come all this way to get it on the rollers or mapped unless it started life this way. run a search on Google for reg plate see what happens.

He's only had it two month. So all the work was the last owner. He doesn't seem to want to give his number unless he's busy.

Yep 2nd the above, £70 a fill and 200 miles a tank soon takes it's toll once the shine wears off.

But i'd steer clear, just because there are better spec cars for the money.

what do you think 390 on standard top mount? just what you want anti lag and a cylinder head full of turbine blades when it explodes.

thats more bull**** then a ford owner normally spouts off. i really must change my add and say 400bhp runs 10 sec qtr honestly fastest scooby you will ever drive.

and what are stage 2 headers? stage 3 clutch, i allways thought a walbro was 255, missing so many key points

That's uk turbo is actually my old car I know the car inside out and Clive atthowes tuning in norwich has maintained the car in my ownership which he will confirm but I sold it over 3 years ago. It has proof of the 352 bhp if you need or wish to know about the car pm me

I am the person who put the money into this car its exactly the same not the last owners as claimed!!!!

Yes mate I bought it and so far so good I put about 500 miles on it so far. Far to loud with the blitz nur spec though. Need also to raise the suspension
