looks like car got here in 2003 i have all the old mots was on 69k then various invoices and bills. other rolling road print outs from power enginering 300bhp then now 317 as i just checked the print out from clives.
the engine is sound so is the gearbox. i have had her since november 2012 selling this and my boxster to fund a project not a car something else.

the car had a clutch just before i bought it. i have no proof of this only his word as he paid pound notes for the job. told me it was an exedy. i have no reason to doubt this as it feels perfect no slip or smell in any gear.
there are invoices for cam belts being changed done twice and rocker gaskets and valves in head replaced so i know its been apart but to what extent i cant say.
cheers

[QUOTE=MattyB1983;11135401]Im guessing people are being a bit put off by the fact its not been mapped buddy.
thanks matey but why do you feel it needs to be mapped? the car has been running like that for years no problem. i would need a diffrent ecu if trying to get near 350bhp also larger injectors or running 1.5bar of boost on that blower but its not so all fine.

People like to see that a car has been properly setup to adopt and make the most of any mods that have been fitted.
Generally (not aiming this at you) people who mod cars and don't have any mapping really don't understand the car and aren't what we would call 'enthusiasts'. Most people don't map their cars because its expensive, they don't know its benifits or just don't care. None of which appeal to a potential enthusiast.
You may of found your car would of been better if it had been mapped. The fact you say 'duncan saw it and said it was fine' doesn't really inspire confidence to a potential buyer. Maybe if you asked duncan to comment on the thread it would help but I'll guarantee he won't give the thumbs up to a modified unmapped car.
Im not knocking you but just pointing out why your probably struggling to sell it on an enthusiasts site.
Also, you don't need a different ecu for it to be mapped. Any competent mapper can fit a small esl board and map that. Its cheap and the specs of it are great.
Good luck with the sale as it does look a nice car. As I said, maybe ebay would be worth a ount.
