Default Newbie saying hello...

I have posted a few times already but thought I would just say hello. I have just sold my E30 M3 Cecotto due to family impracticalities and relatively high running costs. Although I have been in mourning ever since, these M3s are truly up there with the greats! I will own another one one day oh yes!!

I am now the proud owner of a MY99 Impreza 5 door UK car in bright red!! Had it 2 days and absolutely love it, completely different to my peaky M3, even my wife quite likes it! It has 52k miles, FSSH, I am the third owner, the second having owned it from 18 months old, it has air con and the blue interior. Great car loving the acceleration and the fact you don't have to change down two cogs to overtake things, I also think it looks great (if a little lairy) in red.

hello scogs, thanks for the reply, I think I will resist for a while as it has to pass as a family car for part of its life and for example decat pipe would make it a tad loud for the little ones but famous last words...

hi thanks for the reply, I do not want to go on about it but they are such good cars, sooo much feel, sooo much fun on a b road, sooo much grip, modern cars have lost this art in a big way, even my 'new' Impreza cannot come close in terms of steering feel, you are right to drool! But the Impreza is certainly a quicker car in a straight line, but as much fun on a b road, we will have to wait and see...
