Sony's BEAST from the east! - PS2
#1
hello...
I finally decided to go and get my PS2...
So, what's it like?
Well, initial impressions are good, it's a very slick, very polished machine, although a lot smaller than I thought it would be.
So what about games?
I got a copy of ISS (football) and SSX (snowboardy type thing) and the graphics and sound are stunning, although surprisingly it does slow down in some places.
Gameplay wise I only got it at 5pm so am not sure yet
I haven't tried any DVD's either.
The good news is that a guy at work is willing to pay what I payed for it anytime before christmas if I don't like it
So, what do I think? The dogs spheres so far, gorgeous to look at, games, dvd, top sound, and to top it all of a BLUE LED...well worth 300 quid on it's own

you chaps who managed to get a PS2...
go and buy PSW magazine...
There is a demo disk with Gran Turismo 3 on it, I think I've just managed to pick my jaw off the floor!
